INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION
There will be an independence celebration on Sunday, November 28th 2010, at 10.00 AM at the church building. This will be a time to express yourself in the presence of The Lord. A time to be thankful for your freedom in Christ and for the liberty with which we serve Him. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

---- Declaration of Faith ----
We believe:
- In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
- In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
- That Jesus Christ is the only begotten son the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of God the Father as the Intercessor.
- That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and is necessary for forgiveness of sins.
- That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
- In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
- Holiness to be God’s stand of living for His people.
- In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
- In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Ghost.
- In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
- Divine healing is provided for all in the Atonement.
- In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saint’s feet.
- In the premillennial second coming of the Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on earth a thousand years.
- In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
Meet Pastor Richard D. Singh. Pastor Singh in his earlier days was know as THE LITTLE GIANT KILLER. This name aligns itself with his big faith. He believes that with God all things are possible. This shows up daily in his life.
God miraculous healed him from a terrible illnes while he was a youth, saved him and mandated him to preach the gospel. This mandate he took very seriously.

The Village Church New Testament Church of God is situated at Dodd's Land St. Phillip Barbados. It is a good choice for God to raise up such an assembly in the heart of drug trafficking, drug addiction, and drug peddling and in close proximity of the recently built Her Majesty Dodd's prison.
The core values of the church is prayer, evangelism, pentecostal worship and pastoral care.
The church's vision is to double its membership by the year 2012 as it continues to reach souls and develop each menber holistically.
The physical structure is a miracle. In 2008, strong winds caused the old wooden structure to collapse. This devastation did not daunt the spirits of the pastor and congregation. They immediately embarked on a plan of action to build a new structure where God's people could worship.
In February 2009, construction began and in August 2009 the congregation was able to complete the basement of the new house of worship. At present regular services are being held there. When the entire complex is completed it will be valued to the tune of 1.5 million Barbadian dollars.
